Step 1: Remove mount from box or rifle.

Step 2: Close locking lever.

Step 3: Press up on lock bar.

Step 4: Expose adjustment bolt head.

Step 5: Rotate bolt as needed (R = tight, L = loose). Proper tension is achieved when tightened one flat at a time, the mount cannot slide on the side rail with the lever open. Loosen the bolt head one flat.

Step 6: Release lock bar and ensure that the adjustment bolt head is fully captured to prevent unintended rotation.

Step 7: Open lock lever.

Step 8: Slide mount on rifle and once fully seated against the recoil lug, close locking lever. Verify proper fit by ensuring that no play exists between rifle and mount.
